About

Mindfulness for Joy, Harmony & Health

Our very life depends on everything's Recurring till we answer from within. Robert Frost, poet.

Wise heart, wise eyes, clear mind and a balanced life are choices we can make. When I got quiet and listened to my own silence, my life changed: mindlessnessness to mindfulness, unconscious to conscious. The world was still the same but I began to see it differently. I embraced the flaws of my long windy road. I also began to experience excellent health, well-being, balance, and equanimity. I started teaching meditation and mindfulness to inspire others to do the same; to have less stress/anxiety, more joy, and the skills to live w/difference and unsolved problems peacefully as I do. Yes it's a path to freedom from our often fearful self-imposed limiting beliefs. Yes it's the amazing adventure of living our lives.

My short story goes like this. I started as a classical pianist. That turned into a long career in the music biz: jazz pianist, singer, composer, jingles, records, production, arranging, teacher/mentor, Grammy nominee, and recently in 2018 international competitive win as a composer/lyricist for a children’s song about peace. I coach stage fright, do mindfulness integrative psychotherapy, meditate, and continue to work in public education, compose and perform. It is said that musicians are natural meditators. I’ve been meditating for a long time if you count all the hours of practicing since age 4.

Along the way there was marriage, a family, degrees, trainings in education, psychology, transformation, recovery, performance anxiety, Buddhist meditation and a current 100 hr training in teaching mindfulness meditation.  Also involved in social action, mind-body health, running a business, giving service, mentoring among my many hats.  Now it’s about the Zen of quiet, giving back, keeping it simple,  joy, harmony and health; a little slice of happiness each day.
